NaturSense Organic Aloe Vera Gel Review

NaturSense Organic Aloe Vera Gel - Featured image

Sold by NaturSense, this organic Aloe Vera is great for a number of areas on the body. For one, it's great for those razor bumps you get post-shaving, as well as the irritation caused by shaving. If you suffer from psoriasis, eczema, sunburns, or even acne, this type of Aloe Vera is fantastic for you – especially because there is a lack of artificial chemicals that would typically harm you or further complicate your condition.

Being a best-seller in this category, there’s no wonder why, as they lay it all out on the line. It’s an inexpensive bottle of charcoal filtered, cold-pressed, pure aloe Vera that’s eco-friendly, and comes equipped with a BPA-free bottle. What better product is there than one that thinks about you and the environment? Not to mention, one that works!

Supposedly, this product is harvested directly from the field for this company, so you don't have to worry about passed down or bought-in-bulk ingredients marketed falsely. You'll receive the highest level of potency with proteins, enzymes, minerals, and vitamins – as well aloe Vera when you purchase this product. A first-aid directly from the Earth, you'll be able to reap the benefits of an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral product. If you've ever had a sunburn so bad that you need to nourish it, this is a great product to aim for.

Aloe Vera works fabulously on skin issues such as dry and damaged skin from sunburns, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and more. While it can be good to use on dry skin naturally, it’s not directly a moisturizer, so not everyone may have as great as luck as others. The consistency of this product is fluid and silky, without any thickeners like you may see with others that claim to be 100% organic and natural.

Because of how organic it is, this is also great for pet skin, too! Of course, you should always check on the inner elbows if you’d have a reaction, but because of the natural ingredients and harsh chemicals, it’s rare to have a reaction – but it happens!

First Impressions Of The Product

As someone who suffers from not only the terrible annual sunburn, but eczema related skin issues, an organic Aloe Vera gel is absolutely necessary for me to continue on through the day. My skin is very fragile in the light and pale, so I get sunburnt very easily – even with SPF 50. Having aloe vera around doesn’t make me fear going outside in the summer as much, and this product is able to soothe skin from the itchy, dry, and scaly wonders of having eczema.

Because of my enormous skin issues, I don’t actually suffer as much as one would think – but that’s only because I invested (and went through a trial and error of a plethora of products) in this product from NaturSense. It’s an added bonus that the bottle is BPA-free, and I don’t have to worry about it ruining the planet anymore after I’ve done with it. I also don’t have to worry about it leaking any toxins into the product over time when in storage, either.

NaturSense Organic Aloe Vera Gel

At first, I was a little turned off by the consistency of the product, but upon further research, I found that it was virtually it's natural state because there are no artificial thickeners involved. Now, I think back to other products I've used and wondered if those were marketed falsely and actually not as pure as the company said, or what.

Those that have open wounds or something else wrong with their skin may also find solace in knowing that this product is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral. This is especially great for those that have vulnerable skin that’s prone to have sores or something of the sort on them. While we recommend that you research before placing near these types of skins, once you’ve confirmed that you’re able to use it (even go as far as asking your primary care physician), then you’ll see the magical components behind this gel.

I have yet to use this on my hair to provide my scalp with a dandruff treatment, but since I do suffer from it, this is most definitely something I’ll be looking into.

Pros

  • This product is 99.75% Aloe Vera, with the 0.25% being food-grade ingredients – all organic.
  • Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral to heal your cuts, scratches, and scrapes better.
  • Organic alternative to prescription products for psoriasis, acne, and eczema soothing.
  • Provides all-over hydration properties.
  • Charcoal filtered and cold processed.
  • Cruelty-free, safe for pets and children.
  • Can be used as a conditioner to treat hair dandruff.

Cons

  • Maybe too liquid for some, even though this is its natural state – most people are used to a real thick kind of gel.
  • Much to runny for certain applications, you must rub this in.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Naturally, there will be someone that doesn’t agree with this product (skin, mind you). It may not work for everyone, and the important thing to do is place some of the product on your inner elbow to see if you have a reaction. If after a few hours, or 24-hours, you don’t have a reaction, it will be deemed safe to use on other parts of your skin.

Because it’s organic and 99.75% natural, there’s a very slim chance your skin will have an adverse reaction to such. Since you shouldn’t put it on your face without knowing, the inner elbow is a great area of similar skin to test it on.

The Final Verdict

Overall, this is a fantastic product that does work, but you have to get used to the consistency. Since there isn’t an artificial thickener in the product, you’ll have to maneuver around a more runny product. A decent moisturizer and has served me well thus far; it has been able to live up to the performance for each of the skin ailments listed. It's inexpensive, organic, and doesn't hurt to try!
